CR FASHION BOOK

Moncler FW1617 by CR Fashion Book

During this New York and London fashion weeks, we spotted one unexpected iconic accessory: the headscarf! And we love it.

Of course, we know it very well in Iran, under the name of “roussari” in Persian : colorful and relax, remember we talked about the scarf HERE, but to be honest, we were not ready to see it as an emerging trend on the Westerns catwalks.

At Moncler, the headscarf is subtle, hidden under a warm shapka. Very lady chic at Mary Katranzou, we see it way more “trashy”, worn as a scarf by the English designer Claire Barrow:

Or as a textures turban at Nicholas K :

Very discreet, like the one at Simone Rocha, on a shaved head – the other major trend of the runaways:

Hood By Air reinvents the scarf – it has to be worn on the top of your head, very moulded:

Christopher Kane has another vision: he wants the scarf to be transparent, styled and almost protect you from the rain:

Next in Milan and Paris…

Here are some very exciting inspiration for the girls of Tehran, and not only! Newt winter will be covered. Stay tuned!
